Roux Belts 3 HR Against Ole Miss Monday, March 29th, 2021 Sometimes your best is just not enough. Lorenzo Roux had an outstanding day at Ballpark of Wrightsville College, when he ripped three home runs. Nonetheless, the Arizona Wildcats fell to the Ole Miss Rebels 6-4. Roux had a feast at the plate, pounding everything thrown his way. The 20-year-old shortstop banged out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 times and batted in 3 runs. Despite his sensational performance, the Wildcats were not able to hold off the Rebels. "Baseball is a funny game," Roux said in the post game interview, "You can't dwell on the reasons for the loss. I'm sure there will be days when I go 0-for-4 and we win. These things tend to even out." Lorenzo Roux hit a solo-shot off Félix Zúñiga in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Félix Zúñiga in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jean Robin in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Roux is hitting .271 in 2021 with 18 RBIs and 9 home runs. |
