Stanford-Louisiana-Layfayette Brawl, Couch and Foster Suspended Friday, March 5th, 2021 Nobody was hurt in a confrontation yesterday between the Cardinals Ken Couch and the Ragin Cajuns Jack Foster as both benches cleared during the fracas at Surfers Ballpark. It appeared that there were a few punches thrown before the players could be separated. Today the league commissioner took action. The league decided to punish the guilty parties. Ken Couch and Jack Foster will each have to sit out 3-game suspensions for their roles in this fight. In 2021 Couch has hit at a .059 clip with 1 hit, no home runs, 1 RBIs and has scored 4 times. |
