Nimbalkar Takes Home BOL Cy Young Award Thursday, November 4th, 2021 The Eugene clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Prabodh Nimbalkar will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2021 Buck O'Neil League Cy Young Award. Nimbalkar made 35 starts this year, winning 17 and losing 9. He threw 216.2 innings, fanned 248, allowed 192 hits and 83 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .232 average as he logged an impressive 3.74 ERA.Charles Ducat of the Eugene Emeralds finished second in voting, while Orlando Días of the New Orleans Jedi Knights finished third. |
