Durango Nabs BOL Weekly Award Monday, September 20th, 2021 So far in his young career, Tony Durango has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Buck O'Neil League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Victoria Vikings right fielder hit at a torrid .478 clip as he collected 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Durango has hit 9 home runs and posted a .223 batting average. |
