Travis Smith Hurt, Out 4-5 Months
Friday, August 27th, 2021
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Cherry Hill Stealers, Bums starting pitcher Travis Smith was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 4-5 months with a torn rotator cuff. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Palm Beach skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.

This season Smith has a 5-6 record with a 3.83 ERA.
