Star of the Week Honored in BOL Monday, August 16th, 2021 It was a fantastic week for Coney Island first baseman Keith MacKinder and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Buck O'Neil League Player of the Week Award. Last week MacKinder hammered the ball at a torrid .556 pace, going 15-27 with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. So far this year in 118 games MacKinder is hitting .322 with 19 home runs, 85 RBIs and 74 runs scored. |
