Sting Starting Pitcher Woodville Injured Sunday, August 15th, 2021 After the end of today's game between Houston and Westside, Alex Woodville skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, the Sting had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The starting pitcher will miss at least 8 months with a torn labrum. This year Woodville has compiled a 11-5 record with a 3.33 ERA in 22 starts. |
