Sosa Takes Best Bat Trophy in May Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 Armando Sosa put together a good May to earn the Buck O'Neil League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Chippewa officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The River Chiefs catcher posted a .351 batting average with 5 home runs, 18 RBIs and 19 runs scored. So far this year Sosa has hit .333 with 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
