Wang Slams 5 Hits for Palm Beach Friday, April 9th, 2021 There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. Way-ming Wang of the Palm Beach Bums had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today in the 8-4 win over the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws at Envoys Ballpark. The 18-year-old first baseman told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day... enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." Way-ming Wang singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. |
