Jones Honored by Alexander Cartwright League Monday, September 27th, 2021 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Oscar Jones of the Riverside Red Bulls reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Jones rocked opposing pitching for a .517 average (15-29), 1 home run and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this year Jones is batting .324 with 34 home runs, 113 RBIs and 137 runs scored. |
