Thompson Belts Bunch of Base Hits Sunday, September 12th, 2021 The Storm Troopers tripped up the Mustang 12-2 today, led by Wilford Thompson, their 27-year-old right fielder. He tagged Carson City pitching for 5 hits, making life miserable for them the entire game. Wilford Thompson hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Miguel Gonzáles in the 8th. So far in 2021 Thompson is batting .444 with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 8 hits in 18 at-bats and a .542 OBP. |
