Hawks Estima Down with Injury Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 The Boise Hawks will have to make do without Simão Estima for 5 months. He suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Spokane Bulldogs. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." This season Estima has made 44 relief appearances and has 3 saves. His record is 2-1 with 52 strikeouts in 54.2 innings with a 3.62 ERA. |
