Ogawa and Dinneen Suspended, Out 2 Games Thursday, August 19th, 2021 If there wasn't a history between Hidehira Ogawa of Frisco and Joe Dinneen of Riverside, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 2 games as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Ogawa said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This year Ogawa has 9 home runs and a .272 batting average. So far this year Dinneen has nailed down 1 save. His won-lost record is 1-1 with a 2.50 ERA. |
