Great July Gets O'Connor ACL Best Hitter Award Sunday, August 1st, 2021 When Scott O'Connor stepped up to the plate in July, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Alexander Cartwright League Batter of the Month award. The young Riverside right fielder posted a .393 batting average with 3 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 28 runs. O'Connor also worked pitchers for 32 walks to post a .563 on-base percentage. Thus far this season O'Connor is hitting .305 with 12 home runs, 58 RBIs and 78 runs scored. He has 92 hits in 302 at-bats and has played in 98 games. |
