Pantoja: Big Hit in the Ford Frick League Monday, June 21st, 2021 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Mario Pantoja of the Madison Beehive reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Pantoja rocked opposing pitching for a .400 average (10-25), 4 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. Pantoja currently has a .300 batting average with 76 hits, 13 homers, 38 RBIs, 37 runs scored and a .417 OBP. |
