Big Day for Place: Swats 5 Hits Thursday, June 10th, 2021 The Jail Birds tripped up the Defenders 14-3 today, led by Quentin Place, their 20-year-old second baseman. He tagged West Coast pitching for 5 hits, making life miserable for them the entire game. Quentin Place doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
