Costello Tosses Shutout for Cincinnati Friday, June 4th, 2021 In a knockout performance, Ramón Costello beat the Hellcats 6-0 with an impressive 1-hit shutout. The Snaps hurler finished with 4 strikeouts and 5 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. Costello told reporters after the game, "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working... it don't get any better than this." The Hellcats manager said, "It was a rough one for my guys. We weren't at our best... and their guy was." To date this season Costello sports a 2-3 mark with a 3.76 ERA in 9 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .210 batting average and has 59 strikeouts in 52.2 innings. |
