ACL's Top Player Named Monday, May 31st, 2021 Tsugahara Yamamoto burst onto the Alexander Cartwright League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Temple garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 27-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .556 (10-18) with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week. In 43 games this season Yamamoto has compiled a .327 batting average with 48 hits and 8 home runs. He has also scored 28 times and knocked in 34 runs. |
