Daig Picked FFL Player of the Week Monday, April 26th, 2021 25-year-old Billy Daig made a few Sandy Springs headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Ford Frick League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 21 at-bats to put up a .476 average. Daig collected 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 8 runs. So far this season Daig has gotten 18 hits in 60 at-bats for a .300 batting average with 8 home runs. His stats include 19 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has played in 16 games. |
