Red-Hot Kimura Scorches Beetlecats Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 The Outlaws whipped the Beetlecats 9-4 at Bloomfield Road and Yoshihisa Kimura had a big hand in the win. The Outlaws right fielder came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Kimura and a tough day for Buzzard's Bay. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Kimura delivered today -- 5-5 is outstanding in any league. Yoshihisa Kimura hit a two-run home run off Máximo Cucalón in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Christian Lawrence in the 8th. |
