Yamada Keeps Hit Streak Alive Friday, September 10th, 2021 An opposing pitcher told BNN after the Indian Wells-Acapulco game today, "Tetsu Yamada is hitting everything you throw at him. He is one tough out. Fortunately things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a 6-1 win. But Yamada still continued his streak." The Banditos center fielder now has hit safely in his last 25 games. He was 2-4 in today's contest. Tetsu Yamada grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the year Yamada has hit .368 with 2 home runs, 43 RBIs and scored 51 runs. |
