Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021
Every now and then, the right things happen at the right time. Steve O'Farrell discovered that when he smashed three homers at The Hole during today's 5-4 win over the Pasadena Bumblebees.
The South Bay left fielder said in the postgame interview, "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them. The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it."
O'Farrell finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 4 RBIs.
Steve O'Farrell walked in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Edgardo Félix in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Kalyanavarman Nagaraj in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off David Lawson in the 11th.
