3 Boomers for O'Farrell Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021 Every now and then, the right things happen at the right time. Steve O'Farrell discovered that when he smashed three homers at The Hole during today's 5-4 win over the Pasadena Bumblebees. The South Bay left fielder said in the postgame interview, "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them. The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." O'Farrell finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 4 RBIs. Steve O'Farrell walked in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Edgardo Félix in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Kalyanavarman Nagaraj in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off David Lawson in the 11th. In 52 games this year O'Farrell has posted a .302 average and put up these numbers: 8 home runs, 28 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
