Morita Week's #1 Player Monday, August 2nd, 2021 At the age of 26, Kazuhiro Morita might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Philadelphia center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .400 batting average. For his efforts Morita collected the Blake Camden League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 30 at-bats, 5 home runs and 15 RBIs last week in 7 games. For the season Morita is batting .229 with 51 hits and 21 home runs. He has scored 43 times and batted in 55. |
