Warren Belts Bunch of Base Hits Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 Michael Warren exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Hell Stadium. The Acapulco left fielder had a field day in the 7-4 triumph over the El Paso Diablos, finishing with a 5-5 day and a spot in the league record book. "My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Well, Warren must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too. It was one of his best days ever with the bat. Michael Warren singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Warren is hitting .323 so far this season with 40 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He has 97 hits including 3 home runs, 50 walks and .419 OBP. |
