Reliever June's Best Hurler in BCL Thursday, July 1st, 2021 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Dave Murphy, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Chicago Titans reliever, 24, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .194 average and walked away with the Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month award for June. Murphy posted a 5-0 mark and a 1.25 ERA in no relief appearances. In 36 innings, he had no saves, 25 strikeouts, and 8 walks. To date he has nailed down 1 saves for his club. In 12 relief appearances, Murphy has 56 strikeouts in 76.1 innings with a 4.01 ERA and a 7-4 mark. |
