Baristas Cove Named KSL's Best Pitcher Thursday, July 1st, 2021 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. Lou Cove put together a very solid month to take home the Kade Stenson League's top pitching honor in June. The 23-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 12 relief appearances he raked in 9 saves and 14 strikeouts in 13 innings as he put together his 1-0 record and 0.00 ERA. This season Cove has made 33 relief appearances, pitched 32.2 innings and struck out 37 with a record of 2 wins and 2 losses. He has compiled a 1.65 ERA and saved 23 games. |
