Masamichi Okamoto to Miss 8 Months Friday, June 25th, 2021 Earlier today, Amarillo right fielder Masamichi Okamoto had to leave the game against Detroit because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a broken kneecap and will miss 8 months of play. Okamoto was hurt making a defensive play and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. This season Okamoto is hitting at a .158 pace with no home runs, 1 RBIs and has scored 4 times. |
