Cacti Closer McLean Injured Saturday, June 5th, 2021 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Cacti when after today's game against the Freedom, the club found out they would be without the services of Jack McLean for at least 12 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." McLean was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a torn rotator cuff. McLean has 2 saves with a 1-2 season record and a 4.50 ERA. He also has 18 relief appearances, thrown 16 innings and struck out 22. |
