Acapulco Third Baseman Hurt Monday, May 17th, 2021 Acapulco fans held their breath as Josh Stevens left yesterday's Fireballs-Banditos contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 31-year-old third baseman had suffered torn ankle ligaments while colliding with a player at a base. It's estimated that he will be out 3 months. Thus far in 2021 Stevens is hitting .356 with 5 home runs, 12 RBIs, 12 runs scored and has compiled a .508 OBP. |
