Canadians Torres Strikes out 15 Titans Tuesday, May 11th, 2021 Ángelo Torres of the Vancouver Canadians really put on a pitching clinic today at The War Dome as he struck out 15 Chicago Titans in a 6-4 victory. Torres was simply magnificent as he held the Titans to 6 hits. He walked 2. "My fastball was okay," Torres said, "but my breaking stuff really hurt them. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Torres's performance, the Canadians manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was pretty good out there today. He was dominating today." In 7 starts this season Torres has compiled a 1-2 record and a 6.08 ERA. |
