Carlos Fernández Suffers Injury Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 It was announced today in Joplin that Fireballs reliever Carlos Fernández will be out 4-5 months. Fernández suffered bone chips in his elbow that occurred during a game against the Coronado Phantoms. For the season Fernández is 2-and-1 with no saves and a 4.91 ERA. He has given up 16 hits in 14.2 innings with 11 strikeouts. |
