Earthquakes Clément Down with Injury Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 The San Francisco Earthquakes were dealt a severe blow when Adrien Clément was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the South Carolina Bombers. After the game, the team trainer reported Clément might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 27-year-old closer out for the rest of the season with elbow soreness. They indicated it would take Clément at least 4 weeks to heal. To date Adrien Clément has made 67 relief appearances and nailed down 34 saves. In 67.2 innings he has fanned 106 batters and walked 35. His record is 4-3 with a 1.46 ERA and the opposition is batting .162 against him. |
