Bandits Win Roberto Clemente League Tony La Russa Division Friday, September 17th, 2021 The Montreal clinched a postseason berth today, officially capturing the Roberto Clemente League Tony La Russa Division division title. The Montreal Bandits' clubhouse was filled afterwards with jubilant teammates showering each other with champagne. Manager, Masayuki Nakamura, praised his club, saying, "We were underdogs from the beginning, but we pulled it off. I couldn't be more proud of this group of guys for getting it done. Now our goal is to bring a championship to Montreal!" Hopefully the team can get some sleep after what's sure to be a late night celebrating! |
