August's Best TML Rookie Named Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 The batter wants to "hit 'em where they ain't." And that is just what Manuel Rivera did all month long to net the Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month Award. In August he slapped 39 hits in 99 at-bats for a .394 batting average. Rivera also racked up 5 home runs, 19 RBIs, and 14 runs scored. Thus far this year Rivera has hit .316 with 22 home runs and 74 RBIs. |
