Holmes Sticks it to TML Pitchers Monday, August 30th, 2021 When it came to hitting the baseball, Nick Holmes had few peers in the Thurman Munson League this past week. The talented left fielder for Portland tagged opposing pitchers for a .565 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 homers, 10 runs scored and 8 RBIs. For the year Holmes is batting .406 with 40 home runs. |
