Raines of Montreal Crowned Best Player Monday, August 16th, 2021 At the age of 30, Tim Raines might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Montreal center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .500 batting average. For his efforts Raines collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 6 games. Thus far this year Raines has hit .355 with 6 home runs and 45 RBIs. |
