Jacobs Tags Danger for 6 Hits Friday, August 13th, 2021 Todd Jacobs was on fire today and sparked his club to a 20-10 victory over the Danger. The Carolina first baseman was a tough out and went 6 for 6 against Duke City in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody... and some days they fall in." Todd Jacobs singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Naofumi Kouda in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. On the season, Jacobs is batting .326 with 4 home runs and 17 RBIs. He has played in 49 games. |
