Reynolds Slams Milestone Homer Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 The Maple Marauders defeated the South Carolina Bombers 5-4 yesterday in a game that featured Blake Reynolds's 300th career home run. In the clubhouse, the Marauders first baseman spoke about the milestone achievement. "To be honest, I don't even remember my first home run," he said. "But this one I don't think I'll forget. Who knows if I'll hit another hundred, or fifty, or even ten?" On his historic day, Reynolds banged out 1 hit in 4 at-bats and scored 1 run with 2 runs batted in. In his 1303-game career, Reynolds has hit at a .301 clip and collected 1528 hits with 263 doubles, 11 triples, 300 homers, and 970 RBIs. |
