No Hits for Henderson, Streak Ends at 22 Wednesday, July 21st, 2021 Jeffrey Henderson's 22-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Jokers 8-4 setback to the Mustangs. Henderson went without a hit in 4 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it. "I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Henderson said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight." So far this season Henderson is batting .326 with 7 home runs, 36 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 123 hits in 377 at-bats, 15 walks and a .353 OBP. Henderson has played in 87 games. |
