League Issues 3-Game Suspensions for Brawl Sunday, June 20th, 2021 San Francisco's Danny Burris and So Cal's José Gallegos have been handed 3-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at Golden Gate Park. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Burris and Gallegos provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. This year Burris has hit 1 home run and posted a .287 batting average. This season Gallegos has a 10-2 record with a 2.71 ERA in 14 starts. |
