Winston Top TML Pitcher in May Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 Kenny Winston took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Thurman Munson League Pitcher of the Month award for May. The 27-year-old Jesters starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-0 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 35 batters in 47.1 innings and compiled a 2.28 ERA. Winston has made 9 starts this season, posting 4 wins and 2 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .244 against him and he has 47 strikeouts in 65.1 innings with a 3.72 ERA. |
