Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Murphy Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 Baden Murphy ran his hitting streak to 25 straight games today at The Nest, when he collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats. "Hey, the streak is great. I hope it never ends. But I'm not happy when we lose the game," was his comment after Eureka was beaten 8-6 by the Portland Beavers. "The scoreboard tells the whole story." Baden Murphy hit an RBI double in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. So far this year Murphy has 16 home runs and a .379 batting average. |
