Gary's Condition Worse, Gets Another Setback Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 Nate Gary was taking it slow and easy, nursing a strained oblique back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Portland team official, "Nate was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 25-year-old Beavers starting pitcher would be out at least another 4 days. So far this year Gary has 2 wins and 3 losses and a 2.45 ERA. |
