Free-for-All Costs Meshizuka and Koda 4-Game Suspensions Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at Debris Field have been suspended for 4 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Shunso Meshizuka of the Kansas City Tornadoes and Toshiki Koda of the Eureka Hornets. This year Meshizuka has hit at a .275 clip with 10 RBIs, 1 home run and 5 runs scored. Koda has made 6 starts so far this year and put up a 5-1 won-lost record with a 2.95 ERA. In 42.2 innings he has allowed 40 hits, walked 7 and struck out 23. |
