Bishop 5-6 for Jesters Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 Jersey defeated Portland today at Waterfront Park. The highlight of the game was second baseman Alan Bishop. His hitting heroics included a 5-6 day, paving the way for a Jesters 12-8 triumph over the Beavers. Alan Bishop hit a solo-shot off Fred Watson in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 8th, singled in the 9th and hit a two-run single in the 10th. In 39 games Bishop is hitting .293 this season with 46 hits, 9 home runs, 38 RBIs, 5 walks, .317 OBP and has scored 28 runs. |
