Holland Batters Seattle Big Time Tuesday, May 11th, 2021 Bill Holland had an answer for everything the Seattle Sasquatch threw him today in the Georgia 5-4 triumph at The Death Star. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Georgia shortstop went 5 for 6 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Holland said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Bill Holland doubled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th, hit an RBI triple in the 10th and flied out in the 11th. This year Holland is batting .338 with 45 hits, no home runs, 14 RBIs, 7 walks, .368 OBP and has scored 19 runs. |
