Just ask Edgardo Gonzáles, the So Cal catcher, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors. Gonzáles piled up 12 hits in 28 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs while hitting .429. This year Gonzáles is batting .400 with 42 hits, 6 home runs, 19 RBIs, 4 walks, .432 OBP and has scored 18 runs. |
