RCL Awards Best Batter Prize to Wagner Monday, May 3rd, 2021 Steve Wagner is respected by most Manhatten Beach Patriots fans for his no-frills style of play. The 29-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .556 average (15-27) with 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored. In the 2021 season Wagner is hitting .352 with 8 home runs. |
