Hit Streak Over, Texans Stop Dorsey
Friday, April 30th, 2021
Daniel Dorsey saw his 23-game hitting streak wither and die today during the Earthquakes 5-4 victory over Dallas at Golden Gate Park. The 28-year-old left fielder was held hitless in 3 at-bats by Texans, but his San Francisco teammates produced enough offense to garner the win.

Talking to reporters after the game, Dorsey was upbeat. "Am I disappointed about the hit streak? Maybe, just a little bit. How could you be unhappy after you have hit in 23 straight games? I'm just glad it lasted as long as it did. And I am really happy that we won another ballgame today. Life is good."

So far this year, Dorsey is batting .349 with 1 home run and 8 RBIs.
