TML Names Top Player of the Week Monday, April 26th, 2021 At the age of 27, Nick Holmes might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Portland right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .520 batting average. For his efforts Holmes collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 12 RBIs last week in 6 games. So far this season, Holmes has recorded a .423 batting average with 30 hits, 5 home runs, 16 RBIs, 16 runs scored and a .506 OBP. |
